The Completeness of Self.
Before the great deluge there once was a land of great promise the leader of which bore the mark of the blue lotus. Proudly worn as a symbol of great wisdom and divinity.
This land of inspiration seated at the peak of ascension was the envy of all below in regions fraught with strife and unpleasant messengers of darkness and depravity. The people of this great land were humble and accommodating travelling below on several occasions to bring inspiration and hope to the desperation of the lower self-placed.
This however stopped when a beast most foul ascended midway on the bridge of the enlightened pushing them over at the junction of the clouds.
After months of siege it finally made demands, seeking the life of the exalted one and possession of the lotus upon his brow.
Against the wish of his people, the appointed one emerged to face the beast of descent. Amused that the leader was only a child the beast mocked and opted to swallow the prince whole to make an example of the envied dwellers.
"Place the lotus at your feet and come closer to me!" it demanded. The prince responded; "I and the lotus are one. Our separation will bring imbalance to all things. if you seek to destroy me then the lotus too must be destroyed." The beast was defiant smacking the lotus off his brow with its tail.
In the same instant the bridge of ascension separated sending the beast to its obliteration in the abyss below. No one ever knew what became of the prince and the Lotus. However peace, order and balance was restored for generations to come.
